ICAPP Update (15-44)

Dear Distinguished Members of the ICAPP Standing Committee,

This is to report that the 1^st Meeting of the ICAPP Media Forum was successfully held in Seoul during September 16-18, 2015 as scheduled. The meeting was participated by representatives of 15 political parties from 12 countries.

The meeting elected Hon. Hwang Jin-ha, Secretary General of Saenuri (New Frontier) Party, and President of the ICAPP Parliamentarians’ Union in the Korean National Assembly, Saenuri Party, Republic of Korea and     Hon. Carmen Pedrosa, Senior Columnist of Philippine Star, Philippines as Co-Chairpersons. The meeting also elected 4 Vice Chairpersons.

Attached is the Seoul Statement on launching the ICAPP Media Forum which was adopted at the end of the meeting. Also attached are the program, list of participants, list of the Bureau, and the Terms of Reference.
