ICAPP Update (14-22)

Dear Distinguished Members of the ICAPP Standing Committee,

With regard to the 5th Joint Session between the ICAPP Standing Committee and the COPPPAL Coordinating Body, to be held in Managua during October 12-14, 2014 under the auspice of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) of Nicaragua, the Secretariat is now consulting with the COPPPAL Secretariat on the agenda. Attached is the draft agenda items we had initially proposed to the COPPPAL. SC Members are requested to make their comments or further suggestions on the items to be discussed at the joint session.

SC Members may also recall that we agreed to convene the first meeting of the Asian-Latin American Business Council on the sideline of the fifth joint session. In this regard, they are also requested to make their comments or suggestions on the draft topics for the first meeting which has been proposed to the COPPPAL.

SC Members are also requested to nominate two business leaders from their respective countries who will attend the first Business Council meeting in Managua. There have been nominations from four countries so far, the list of which is also attached herewith.
