ICAPP Update (24-40): ICAPP Mission to Observe Parliamentary Elections in Azerbaijan

Dear Distinguished Members of the ICAPP Standing Committee,

This is to inform you that Members of the ICAPP Standing Committee are invited to observe the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan to be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024 by the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

This is also to inform you that the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan is offering local transportation and accommodation to a total of 3 (three) ICAPP representatives.

In this regard, as only 3 ICAPP representatives can participate in the Observer Mission, interested SC Members are requested to inform the Secretariat by August 5, 2024 of their intention to join the Mission. The ICAPP Secretariat then will consult with the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Attached are the official invitation letter from Hon. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the application form.

The program of the ICAPP Observer Mission will be provided in due course, as soon as the Secretariat receives it from the Azerbaijan side.
