ICAPP Update (13-28)

Dear Members of the ICAPP Standing Committee,

As you may recall, at the 20th Meeting of the Standing Committee, held in Xi'an on May 29, 2013, Hon. Sok An, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia, invited the ICAPP to send a mission to observe the general elections in Cambodia to be conducted on July 28, 2013, as a part of the international monitoring group. 

In this regard, all the Members and Alternate Members of the ICAPP Standing Committee have been invited by the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) to join in the mission to Cambodia during July 25-30. The main purpose of the ICAPP's participation in the monitoring activities during the general elections is to promote understanding on the election process of Cambodia and to make contributions to the free and fair elections in Cambodia.

The Members and Alternate Members of the SC are kindly requested to confirm their participation at their earliest convenience.

Expenses for hotel accommodation, local transportation and meals will be covered by the CPP, and attached is the tentative program for the ICAPP mission to Cambodia.
