ICAPP Update (12-72)

Dear Members of the ICAPP Standing Committee,

Attached is the revised draft annotated agenda for the 18th SC Meeting to be held in Baku in the evening of November 21 prior to the 7th GA.

The SC Members are requested to give special attention to the agenda item on the expansion of SC membership and the list of political parties from five countries, i.e. Bangladesh, Lebanon, Myanmar, Mongolia and Thailand, to be considered for invitation to join the SC.  As agreed at the 17th SC Meeting in Baku last June, the new expanded list of the SC should be announced at the closing session of the 7th GA. 

In this regard, the SC Members are requested to consider to invite the representatives of the political parties of the five countries to attend the 18th SC Meeting as special participants.  If there is any objection to this proposal, please inform the Secretariat as soon as possible.
